If you want to completely cancel your trip and rebook it at a later time, you can do so by paying $150 per change in accordance with the Southwest Flight Change Policy. Even if you had paid $75 for a prior effort to change your ticket, this fee still applies. Southwest can accommodate one free modification within seven days of the original departure date if you're still interested in travelling on another day but only want an earlier or later departure time (itinerary must be rescheduled within 14 days of original purchase). You should be able to modify your flight without incurring any costs or penalties as long as you are not too close to your original departure date and time. You can alter your flight by selecting "Change my departure time." seven days before leaving is acceptable.
